Margaret Niche is currently the Head of the ICE Global Network for Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), which operates exchanges, clearing houses and information services that customers rely upon to invest, trade and manage risk across global financial and commodity markets. ICE is the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
In her role, Niche manages customer facing product offerings and new product development for the ICE Global Network that offers unique content, delivery and execution services through an ultra-secure, highly resilient network. The ICE Global Network provides access to over 150 global markets including proprietary data from NYSE and ICE Exchanges and ICE Data Services.
Previously, Niche was the Chief Administrative Officer for NYSE Technologies Connectivity, a division of the NYSE that served as the entrepreneurial technology arm of the Exchange until its acquisition by ICE in 2014. Niche joined the NYSE by way of its acquisition of NYFIX, Inc., a company whose network enabled users to electronically communicate trade data among the buy-side, sell-side and exchange floor environments.
Prior to joining NYFIX, Niche also served in various positions at RSL Communications, GTE Corporation and Contel Communications, all firms in the telecommunications industry.
Niche began her career at Arthur Andersen LLP, where she was an Audit Manager specializing in the Electric, Gas and Telecommunications industry groups. Niche holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from New York University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
