Google’s Bronagh Friel is an insights driven decision maker, with a passion for creative storytelling, and loves collaborating across diverse groups to execute on big, bold ideas. She has worked in Google for 8 years, starting off in Ireland, then moving to San Francisco before landing in New York this year.

Bronagh currently works on Grow with Google, a new initiative to help create economic opportunities for Americans. Before this, she was a member of the Google Brand Marketing team, overseeing Made with Code, the company’s flagship program to encourage teen girls to take their first step in coding.

Bronagh studied Communication, Advertising and Marketing at the University of Ulster, and previous roles include Marketing and Communications at McDonald’s, External Affairs at Intel and Fundraising and Program Development at education nonprofit, Junior Achievement.
